SCSI 2001 Advanced Workshop
The SCSI Institute is in its fourth year of operation, and
in the fourth year of a three year National Science Foundation
Undergraduate Faculty Enhancement grant.
Funds from this grant
have been used to sponsor summer workshops for undergraduate
faculty who wish to incorporate computational science and modeling
into their courses in math, physical sciences, natural sciences
and/or computer science.
This year an advanced workshop was held combining further work in methods
of computational science and numerical modeling with planning for the nationalization
of SCSI into the National Computational Science Institute (NCSI). Participants were
chosen from among the previous years' attendees.
