Session 10:
Application of Meteorology to Air Quality Modeling

This session will focus on applying a 3 dimensional meteorological model so as to produce input data for an air quality model. The Models-3 framework will include a model called the Fifth-Generation NCAR/Penn State Mesoscale Model (MM5). Most of the examples and issues presented in this session will be based on the MM5. Most of the information learned in this session, as well as in past sessions can be applied to other meteorological models. This is NOT a MM5 tutorial, but rather a meteorological to air quality model tutorial.

Please visit the MM5 Web page for more information on the actual model.
