Session 10: Application of Meteorology to Air Quality Modeling

Upon completion of this session, a participant should be able to do the following:
  1. Describe the general input requirements for a meteorological model.

  2. Describe one method of implementing FDDA within a meteorological model.

  3. Determine which factors are important when balancing your desired meteorological modeling application versus computing resources.

  4. Describe the purpose of "vertical averaging".

  5. List the meteorological information typically required by emissions preprocessing systems.
