Monte D. Evans

Monte Evans, an alumnus of Bethesda Elementary School, Lowe's Grove Middle School and Southern High School, has been an intern at the Shodor Education Foundation, Inc. for several years. He is currently at the North Carolina School of Science and Math in his first of two years there.

Monte enjoys working at the Foundation during the summer months.

Monte was recognized as Student of the Year for the Durham Public Schools and has met with Governor James B. Hunt. He has been recognized in the North Carolina News and Observer for an article about the Shodor Education Foundation, Inc.

Monte also volunteers at the North Carolina Museum of Life and Science in the summer, an activity he has done for two years now.
