Anne Thissen

Anne is an intern at the Foundation, working on Project Interactivate, the UNC Chemistry Fundamentals course (both in development), the Shodor Computational Science Institute, the Duke TIP Modeling Your World course, and last but not least Project SUCCEED.

Anne is 18 years old and yet another graduate of the North Carolina School of Science and Math. She attends the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign, where she studies physics. Her extracurriculars vary from literary magazines to math teams to science fiction clubs. In past summers, she has volunteered at the Museum of Life and Science in Durham, and Internationalist Books in Chapel Hill. Unlike her brother she prefers not to list her honors.
